BNP Paribas has appointed Robert van Kerkhoff as head of institutional investors sales & client coverage, and Alison Gurd as head of client experience & servicing. Both report to Alessandro Gioffreda, head of client coverage & territories for securities services.
Van Kerkhoff will be based in Madrid, moving from Luxembourg, where he was most recently regional head of Luxembourg, Ireland and the Channel Islands for securities services, and CEO of BNP Paribas S.A. Luxembourg Branch. Over his seven years as head of the offshore businesses, he has overseen impressive growth across all three locations. Gurd, who will be based in London, most recently served as country head and head of securities services in the Channel Islands.
