Brown Brothers Harriman has named Kevin Stone as managing partner, effective January 1, 2027. In this role, Stone will serve as the firm’s chief executive officer, succeeding Bill Tyree, who will step down as managing partner following more than 40 years with the firm and will continue to serve as a retired general partner. Stone, BBH’s current chief financial officer and a partner, has served on BBH’s ExCo for over a decade, chairs its finance committee, and has global responsibility for finance, compliance, and human resources. Tyree was named managing partner in 2016 after leading the investor services business for eight years.
