Apex has been appointed by Yarra Capital Management to support the Yarra Private Capital Discovery Fund. Yarra Capital Management is one of Australia’s largest independently owned, active fund managers, with c. AUD19bn (USD13bn) AuM. Apex has been appointed to provide fund administration, transfer agency and custody services for the closed-ended vehicle.

IQ-EQ, the Luxembourg-based administrator, has appointed Matthew Abbott to the newly created role of global head of sales operations. Apex has appointed Alice Read as country head, Jersey. She will report to James Burke, regional head of Northern Europe and Channel Islands. Read joined Apex in 2021 as commercial director. She previously held roles with Intertrust as director of corporate services, Jersey and managing director, Dubai.

Waystone, the Ireland-based service provider to the investment management industry, has appointed Des Johnson as global chief revenue officer. Johnson, who is based in the U.S., was previously CEO for The Americas at Centaur, which Waystone recently acquired. Johnson joined Centaur in 2017 after a long career at Citi and a brief spell at SS&C.
