NTRS appoints Canada country head
Northern Trust has appointed Katie Pries as country executive for Northern Trust’s asset servicing business in Canada, based in Toronto. Pries previously served as president and CEO of Northern Trust Canada from 2020 to 2025. She succeeds Jeff Alexander, who has left Northern Trust to pursue other opportunities.

BNPP hires HF head
Peter Herrlin has joined the securities services business of BNP Paribas as global head of hedge fund services. Based in London, he reports to Patrick Hayes, global head of alternatives investors, securities services, and locally to Julien Kasparian, regional head for the UK and Middle East, securities services. He joins from Northern Trust.
BNY loses senior AO manager
