J.P. Morgan has appointed Teresa Heitsenrether as head of a new unit, data & analytics, which will focus on AI. She is replaced as head of the securities services business by Tim Fitzgerald, currently head of global custody & fund services. He joined J.P. Morgan in 2016 from Deutsche Bank.
Zodia hires ops head
Zodia Custody has appointed Samuel Max Howe as head of operations. He joins from GSA Capital, a multi-asset quant hedge fund, where he was head of crypto operations.

Michael Mekhaeel has joined Gen II Fund Services as head of depositary at Gen II Luxembourg Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary. Mekhaeel previously spent 17 years at BBH in Luxembourg. Gen II focuses exclusively on the private capital sector, and claims to have USD900bn AuA.
Torstone hires new CFO
Torstone Technology, a UK-based SaaS platform provider for post-trade securities and derivatives processing and risk management, has appointed Neil Mardon as CFO. He will also join Torstone’s board of directors. Mardon was previously CFO and later COO at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe.

Vibhor Singh has joined Citi as head of data products and platforms for the securities services business. He joins from Morgan Stanley, where he led data strategy and execution for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Joe Bonanno, global head of data, digital & innovation, joined from Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in 2022.
BNY Mellon appoints HK chief
Francis Giglio has been appointed as Hong Kong chief executive for BNY Mellon. He takes on this role in addition to his responsibilities as global head of relationship management for depositary receipts. He joined BNY Mellon in 2016.

Lucy Cazenove joins HornbyChapman

Before taking a career break, Cazenove worked for 10 years at Alexandra International, an executive search firm specialising in the global transaction banking sector, and also spent four years at Arq International.
