Oak appoints group CEO
Oak Group, the C.I.-based administrator, has appointed Kim Sgarlata as group CEO. She previously held the positions of global head of strategic programme development and global head of wholesale transformation at HSBC. She has also worked at Capco, Accenture, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and State Street.
TMF appoints two regional BD heads
TMF Group, the Netherlands-based provider of compliance and administrative services, has appointed Joel Cardenas as head of business development for Latin America, and Ard Crebas as head of business development for North America and the Caribbean. They will both report to TMF’s chief commercial officer, Jan Willem van Drimmelen. Both are internal appointments.
IQ-EQ appoints first Ireland CCO
Paul Griffith has been appointed by IQ-EQ as its first chief commercial officer for Ireland. Prior to joining IQ-EQ in 2021, Griffith was a commercial director with Intertrust Group. He will join the regional leadership team and will manage the regional sales team.
Komainu appoints CTO
Komainu, the C.I.-based digital assets custodian, has appointed Robert Johnson as chief technology officer, based in London. He joins from Coremont, where he was CTO and partner. Komainu, which is backed in part by Nomura, recently received approval from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority to register as a custodian wallet provider.

BBH has appointed Orla Foley as global head of relationship management for its investor servicew business. Foley, a principal of the firm, will relocate to BBH’s Boston office. She joined BBH in 1997 and was most recently head of relationship management for investor services in Europe.
Altum expands in UK
Altum Group, a C.I.-based provider of fund, corporate, and family office solutions, has expanded in the UK, moving to new offices led by managing director, Simon Drewett. He was previously at Crestbridge, where he led a team providing FCA-regulated fund management services.
UI appoints Rougier as Lux country head
Universal Investment Group has appointed Etienne Rougier as Luxembourg country head. This is alongside his position as group COO.
