Aztec appoints Lux head
Aztec, the C.I.-based administrator, has appointed Loic Choquet as head of jurisdiction in Luxembourg. He will continue in his role as head of group centres of excellence and internal control. Aztec has >700 Luxembourg-based employees, and has recently launched its AIFM service in the domicile.
Donohue leaves State Street
A long-serving senior executive at State Street has stepped down. Jessica Donohue, one of the most senior female executives at the bank, was appointed as head of global investment insights, sustainability and impact in 2023 after the retirement of Rick Lacaille. Previously Donohue had been global head of State Street’s asset owner segment.
Atkinson joins Euroclear
Neil Atkinson has left HSBC to join Euroclear. He spent more than five years at HSBC, most recently as global head, platform solutions, banks and broker dealers, for the securities services business.
Pirum hires U.S. sales director
Pirum, the fintech focused on securities finance and collateral management, has appointed Richard Marquis as director, sales, North America. Based in New York, Marquis joins Pirum from MUFG Securities, where he ran the securities finance regulatory project for 10c-1a compliance. He has also worked at BNY, J.P. Morgan and UBS.
