Apex has appointed Jay Cipriano as chief strategy officer, a newly created role. He will report to Apex CEO, Peter Hughes. He joins from SEI, where he spent 28 years.
Sheller joins Juniper Square
Jason Sheller has joined Juniper Square as global head of go-to-market fund administration. Sheller spent seven years at CBRE, and is based in New York.

NTRS appoints Canada country head
Northern Trust has appointed Katie Pries as country executive for Northern Trust’s asset servicing business in Canada, based in Toronto. Pries previously served as president and CEO of Northern Trust Canada from 2020 to 2025. She succeeds Jeff Alexander, who has left Northern Trust to pursue other opportunities.
Gen II hires private credit team
Gen II Fund Services, an independent private capital fund administrator with >USD1trn AuA, has hired Leslie DeRoss and her specialist team to lead and expand the firm’s private credit offering. DeRoss joins Gen II from U.S. Bank.
BNPP hires HF head
Peter Herrlin has joined the securities services business of BNP Paribas as global head of hedge fund services. Based in London, he reports to Patrick Hayes, global head of alternatives investors, securities services, and locally to Julien Kasparian, regional head for the UK and Middle East, securities services. He joins from Northern Trust.
BNY loses senior AO manager
BNY has lost a senior manager from its already underpowered asset owners team. Anders Reinertsen, who was head of the asset owners sector for the Americas, has joined Clearwater Analytics as market principal for asset owners, based in New York.
Apex hires Canada country head
Apex has appointed Alex Dameski as country head for Canada. He joins from Northern Trust Canada, where he served as chief strategy officer and chief client officer.
Altum hires for UK RE team
Altum Group, a C.I.-based-provider of fund, corporate and family office solutions, has appointed Matt Philpott to the firm’s real estate team in the UK. He will support the delivery of administration and relationship management, overseeing complex portfolio transitions, ensuring consistent communication with directors, and providing oversight on structuring, governance and onboarding processes.
