Pirum hires U.S. sales director
Pirum, the fintech focused on securities finance and collateral management, has appointed Richard Marquis as director, sales, North America. Based in New York, Marquis joins Pirum from MUFG Securities, where he ran the securities finance regulatory project for 10c-1a compliance. He has also worked at BNY, J.P. Morgan and UBS.
AccessFintech hires product head from J.P. Morgan
AccessFintech, the provider of real-time data insights across financial markets, has appointed Naveen TV as head of product. He most recently spent 12 years at J.P. Morgan as global head of data strategy and AI. He has also served as a board director at Saphyre and AccessFintech.

Northern Trust wins VCC mandate in Singapore
Northern Trust has been appointed by Valverde Investment Partners Pte Ltd. to provide custody, fund administration, FX and cash management services for its newly formed Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund, along with its sub-fund, ASEAN+ Fund (VAPF). Valverde is a newly established, Singapore-based, independent investment management firm specialising in ASEAN equities.
Citi wins Nuveen ETF mandate
Citi has won an ETF servicing mandate from Nuveen, the TIAA-owned asset manager. Citi has onboarded 23 ETFs with c. USD9bn AuM. The mandate expands Citi’s relationship with Nuveen, which is an existing client of its markets business.
NTAM outsources to Waystone
Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) has outsourced its ETF business to Waystone ETFs. The single ETF, NTAM’s USD287.4m FlexShares Listed Private Equity UCITS, will now be hosted on Waystone ETF’s ICAV platform. NTAM will continue as the investment manager for the ETF. Northern Trust’s asset servicing unit will continue to act as custodian and administrator.
Beighton joins Waystone
Wayne Beighton has joined Waystone as a managing director, based in the UK. He was previously at HSBC, and has also worked at Northern Trust and State Street.
State Street wins further ETF mandates for Capital
Capital Group has launched seven new equity and fixed income ETFs that seek to complement and expand its existing suite of active ETFs, bringing the current total to 21 ETFs. State Street, which is an existing ETF service provider for Capital, has been appointed as administrator and transfer agent for the new funds.
