Aztec Group has appointed Marcia Rothschild as European desk head within its U.S. commercial team. She joins Aztec from FundBank, where she was senior managing director, head of business development and client relations. ZILO, the UK-based fintech specialising in asset and wealth management software, has raised USD27m in a Series A2 funding round. Portage led the round, joined by State Street, both existing shareholders, and management.

Waystone, the European provider of fund administration services, has appointed Diarmuid Ryan as global head of administration solutions. He was previously global head of alternatives, liquid alternatives and hedge fund services at BNP Paribas.

After just over two years at Northern Trust, Duncan Cooper has left to run his own business. He was chief data officer at Northern Trust, and has also worked at BNY and HSBC. He is based in the UK.
Aztec hires head of product
Aztec Group has appointed Sam Metland as its new head of product and propositions. He joins from Citco, where he held roles including head of private equity product and, most recently, head of solutions engineering. Prior to this, he held senior product and strategy roles at J.P. Morgan and Brown Brothers Harriman.
