Purves to succeed Aztec’s Moore
Edward Moore, Aztec Group founder and CEO, is to become chair of the group board. He will be succeeded as CEO by current group chair, Kathryn Purves, effective 1 April 2023. Purves was appointed group chair in April 2022, having initially joined the group as a non-executive director in 2020.

Apex to acquire BACSIL
Apex plans to acquire Bank of America Custodial Services (Ireland) Limited (BACSIL), the Irish depositary business of Bank of America. Apex will acquire BACSIL through its subsidiary, European Depositary Bank. The BACSIL business, based in Dublin, provides depositary services for client assets of USD71.4bn. Upon closing, BACSIL’s team will join Apex in Dublin.
