Clearwater Analytics, the U.S.-based accounting fintech, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired in a transaction valued at approximately USD8.4bn by an investor group led by Permira and Warburg Pincus, with participation from Temasek. The investor group has support from Francisco Partners. The CWAN board of directors has approved this transaction.
Permira recently announced its intention to acquire JTC, the C.I.-based administrator, and has a stake in Alter Domus.
